Audrey Faith

Our beautiful new addition arrived April 23rd at 10:34 am. She weighed 6lbs 13.5 oz, was 20in. long, and is absolutely perfect. Emmalee is totally in love with her and so are we. I realize now more than ever how truly blessed I am, and have spent everyday of the last week thanking God for two beautiful healthy girls and praying that I can be deserving of them.

Birthday Girl

I can't believe Emmalee is three years old today. It seems like just yesterday that we were preparing for her arrival and here we are now with her baby sister on the way. She has grown so much and I am amazed very day by how smart and beautiful she is. When I look at her I can still see that tiny little baby I held for the first time three years ago. She has taught me so much about love and faith and I know that I am truly one of the most blessed people in the world. I am completely humbled by the fact that God chose me over everyone else to be her mother and my greatest prayer is that I can prove myself worthy of that honor.

Sneak Peak

We aren't finished yet, but I wanted to give you a sneak peak of Audrey's room. (Her bedding is ladybugs). We still have to put up the chair rail, hang the curtain, put all the furniture in place, on and on and on. But we still have about ten weeks so that is plenty of time, right? Not to mention that I still have to pull all of the baby things down from the attic, get them all washed, and put away. Time is really flying by, but I can't wait for her to get here!

Gone Fishin'

While I was doing laundry the other day, this is how I found Emmalee. She informed me that she was fishing in Travis's boat. She has only been fishing in the boat one time, but she really enjoyed it. She has been fishing at the pond with Daddy several times and it is one of her favorite pasttimes. I am so glad to have a little girl who is very girly, but also not afraid to get dirty!

Christmas

Emmalee working on her list for Santa on Christmas Eve. New Pink Recliner

Doll House

New Baby Doll with a meme (pacifier)

I have been so bad about posting lately, but here are a few pictures from Christmas. Santa was very good to Emmalee and I wish I could say he brought her everything she asked for, but considering she was adding to her list right up until Christmas Eve, including asking for dog food (not sure about that one), there were a few things that didn't make it under the tree. She did get the things she has been asking for the longest, like a doll house, a new baby doll, and Wall E. She also got a new pink recliner to watch movies in her playroom, and a Fisher Price digital camera. I am going to start adding some of her pictures to the blog. The world through her eyes is quite interesting. Adam was off nearly the whole time I have been and we have all really enjoyed our time home together. We were very blessed in this past year and I am excited to see all the wonderful things this new year has in store for us!
